Friskies Fest “Reuniting the Past & Shaping the Future”Friskies Fest is an annual summer event sponsored by the STC Education and Leadership Fund (SELF), a national nonprofit organization formed by US based Alumnae of ST. Tereasa’s Convent Catholic (STC) High School, an all girl’s high school located in Monrovia, Liberia. Held during the first or second weekend in of August each year, Friskies Fest is a symbolic celebration of female education, empowerment, and leadership in the Liberian community. We aim to reunite all alumnae and friends of STC; to give accolade to our alma mater by paying homage to faculties/Staff (past and present) and to acknowledge enterprising Liberians (alumnae and non alumnae) for their colossal achievements and contributions to the Liberian community. The weekend offers rewarding networking opportunities through a series of events and immersion in our Liberian and African heritage as a whole while showcasing national and local artists and performers, businesses and family friendly activities. For our partners and sponsors, Friskies Fest is a unique opportunity to increase your visibility within the Liberian and African community.
Proceeds from Friskies Fest are geared towards raising funds for the STC Education and Leadership Fund (SELF) projects.
